You know the “25 Things” lists everyone is doing on Facebook these days? I’ve successfully avoided putting my list together so far. But if I had such a list, one of my 25 Things would be “I love watching the reality shows about tattoo artists on TLC – Miami Ink and L.A. Ink.”
Totally weird, I know. I have no tattoos. I have no desire to get any tattoos (most of the time). But have you seen how crazy talented some of the artists are?! Well, you’re about to.
Three of the artists from Miami Ink – Darren Brass, Chris Garver and Yoji Harada – are joined by artists Mike Walls and James Hamilton in a new clothing venture called Ruthless & Toothless. The centerpiece of their business is, you guessed it, tattoo-inspired children’s clothing.

Obviously, a lot of this is Japanese-inspired. Love it. These guys are just getting started. The onesies and the tank dresses for now (with a few sweatshirts and beanies too) – but I think we’ll see some really interesting kids’ clothing from them in the very near future!
