Confession: I didn’t wear any of my babies. With the first two, slings weren’t yet on the mom-to-be radar in my little corner of the Midwest. And the second two were twins – so I was a bit overwhelmed with life and couldn’t imagine even trying to wear either of them. But I can completely see the benefits of babywearing. (Yes, the intimacy and closeness of the attachment but MORE! IMPORTANTLY! the free hands!)
Thanks to Twitter, I recently came across the darling baby slings at Polkadot Papoose. And? Tara of Polkadot Papoose lives here in Kansas City!
Love the fabrics and what appears to be an amazingly simple sling design. I think that even I could figure out how to use this one…
