Fun Girl’s Raincoat from Boden

Today was the first day in a long while that it wasn’t cool and rainy here. Now that it’s sunny and warm and we don’t need raincoats or rain boots, I ran across this. A darling jacket by Boden – they describe it as “shower-resistant”. It’s cotton and has a detachable hood. And lots of dots. Very cute dots.

At $56, it’s not Target-cheap but it’s not anywhere near the $1,000 Burberry kids’ trenches I refrained from featuring here…

I was looking at DesignMom’s lovely family portraits taken in Central Park (over on her blog, not in person because I don’t know DesignMom in real life). And one of her daughters had on the most delicious little jacket by ismodern.

I’m Aching for Spring Already

Is that so bad? Winter isn’t “officially” here but it is bitterly cold in the Midwest today. I’m already dreaming of more transitional weather. Weather that would be perfect for these perfect coats.
